Qualified Professional Vancouver Tutor

I have 10 years of experience in supporting children with Autism and Special Needs, teaching English as a Second Language and classroom and behaviour management. My colleagues describe me as a caring and patient child advocate with the ability to work with children of various levels of cognitive, behavioural and/or physical challenges. Having taught in Asia and traveled all over the world, I have experience with cultures from over 20 different countries.

My education includes a Bachelor of Education with a Curriculum & Instruction Minor (BEd) and Bachelor of Arts with a Psychology Major, Linguistics Minor (BA). In addition I have my diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Vancouver Community Colleage (VCC). I am currently a Teachel with the Richmond School Board and an ESL and Special Needs tutor for private schools. In the summers, I run a fantastic day camp for children in the Vancouver Area. High Ethical Standards

As a certified teacher, with the BC College of Teachers and a member of the BCTF, I am required to follow the Code of Ethics set out by these professional authorities. I have successfully completed an extensive Government Criminal Record Check. Grades and Subjects I tutor school-aged children from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in a variety of subjects including math, social studies, science, and English. My special areas of expertise include ESL and Special Needs.
